How XEOMIN Works
XEOMIN blocks nerve signals to muscles. Without that signal, the muscle cannot contract. The skin above it relaxes, and the wrinkle softens.
The treatment is delivered through a series of small injections directly into the targeted muscles. The dose is carefully calibrated to each person’s muscle contractility and anatomy. The goal is softening, not freezing. Movement and expression remain; the lines are simply less deep.
Treatment Experience
The injection session takes 10 to 20 minutes. No anaesthesia is required, though a topical numbing cream can be applied if preferred.
Results begin to appear within three to seven days, with the full effect visible at approximately two weeks. The results last three to six months, depending on the individual and the area treated. Results vary by individual.
There is minimal downtime. Small red marks at the injection sites may appear and resolve within a few hours. Avoiding vigorous exercise, alcohol, and lying down for four hours after treatment is advised. The needles used are very fine and bruising is uncommon — gentle pressure is applied after each injection to minimise this risk.
